Im calling it the year of the pirate......as over 1/4 of the people dressed like one. There was various levels of the pirate......everything from Betty's spectacular costume of Jack sparrow.....to Benty's hilarious Teddy Ruckspenesque Captain of the floating ship costume (complete with parrot on his shoulder) to several sad attempts that included red scarf and child sword.
Fortunatly, only a few cap guns were confiscated and no one was suspended for inappropriate costumes. Although several girls should have been sent home for their scandalous outfits. I really wanted to walk up to several and ask "So.....Do you have permission from your parents to be dressed up as a bachelor party stipper? Or did you change when you got here?" But of course I refrained. Because I'm a nice person......So I will just pose those questions here.......
Here's a pic of the main people in the band room today:

Other of my fav. costumes were:
Mine: I was a hunter........the hightlight was the trucker hat which read........"If it Flies.....It dies"
Betty's "Jack Sparrow" costume: it was beautiful
A group of boys dressed as the Ninja Turtles
One young man was curious george
Lee S. was a Cow
All those students that squeezed their bodies into childs costumes from extra foods (see Robert above, thank the lord he wore shorts).
and
Mr. Eaton graced the school as Side show Bob (perfect!)
Hope your Halloween was fun like mine.............

Hey I had Halloween with the other exchange students here. It mostly involved dressing up eating candy which we bought and watching downloaded Hocus Pocus. Oh yes and we tried to carve a pumpkin but what we had was more like a melon shaped gigantic cucumber.
