Okay so Wednesday's episode was appropriatly named "Every Man for himself" and here is why.......
What happened on the beach: Essentially the episode is spent with Desmon proving that his ablities to see into the future must be correct. He makes a lightning conductor and lightning strikes in the place he put it.
Jack: More development with him and Juliette. Colleen comes into camp with a gunshot wound and Jack is sent in to help Juliette save her life. Colleen dies. We find out Juliette is a fertility doctor. But Jack asks a very important question: I saw x rays of a 40 something man with a tumor on his 4th Vertebrae, Who am I here to save.
This episode is mostly spent on Sawyer:
Flashback Sequence: he's in jail.......theres this guy munson, in jail cause he ripped of the government, but they never found the money, because the gov't wants there money they are being extra nice to him........Sawyer starts chatting this guy up.......telling him the warden is coning the con man........he convices Munson to tell him where the money is. It is all in itself a con. Sawyer tells the IRS where the money is an in exchange gets out of jail and gets some of the money. He gives puts the money in a bank account for he new daughter Clemintine. A Daughter he tries to deny earlier in the episode.
Sawyer reality sequences:
Sawyers attempt at escape is foiled. Then Ben opens the cage and starts beating Sawyer until he passes out. Sawyer wakes up straped down to a metal table. They put a leather bit in his mouth and tell him its for the pain. then they discuss jabbing him with a needle.......really big needle...........Sawyer screaming is broadcast through to Jacks cell.............
It goes black..........
Wakes up with a bandage on his chest, he is still straped down. Lead work camp guy and ben come in with a bunny in a cage. He shakes the cage until the bunny dies. Then he askes Sawyer if he knows what a pace maker is.......then goes into details about how the pace maker helped the bunny if it got exited or tried to escape. Ben tells Sawyer his new pace maker will cause his heart to explode if his heart rate gets above 140 and he gives him a monitor to wear to recognize the changes in is heart rate........It will start beeping if he is in the danger zone. Recommends that he do some deep breathing or Yoga if this happens and informs Sawyer this is how he will insure Sawyer will behave himself. Sawyer asks if they want him dead why don't they just shoot him. Ben replys "We're not Killers James". Ben also threatens that if Sawyer tell Kate they are watching him or what they did to him......they will put one in her too.
Sawyer is placed back in his pen. Of course Kate starts asking lots of questions about what happened but Sawyer refuses to answer her. The others give Kate some more appropriate clothing to wear. She tells Sawyer to turn around so she can change.....he of course starts watching her.......his watch starts beeping.......
Sawyer is wiping off his wounds in his pen.......and Kate finds a way to get her skinny body through the bars at the top of the pen. She gets out and as she tries to save sawyer too, he tells her to leave him behind. But Kate won't go......she gets back in her cage.
All the while Ben and the other head dude (not the camp guy but the one who wears the old man costume) discuss what they are going to do with sawyer and Kate as they watch them on the survailance screens. They for now are leaving Jack in the room with the dead body
Is woken up in his pen by Ben, he is told to go for a walk Ben and Sawyer go on a walk up a mountain. Ben tells him there is no pace maker. Ben takes him to show Sawyer that he is staying on a small island and the next island over is the island the crashed people are on. So he has no where to run. Ben tells Sawyer the only way to gain a con mans respect is to con him. And then tells him in a calm voice to stop pretending he doesn't care about Kate for Sawyer really does and the longer he denies it the more he will go wrong.
They are not really throwing us many bones about what is going on right now. I still think my new theory is good. Although it does change a little weekly.
