something fishy is going on here...........Episode 18

Present Day:
So we know Sun is pregnant. Sun is suspicious of Juliette’s research. She confronts Juliette about what happens to pregnant women on the island. She really wants some answers. Juliette tells her that all the pregnant woman that got pregnant on the island die. That night Juliette comes over to Sun’s tent and takes her into the night. She says she will answer all her questions and wants to help the baby. Sun and Juliette go to the station in order to look as Sun’s baby with the ultrasound machine.
They get to the location. Sun asks why she is doing this. She tells her that before she came to the island, telling women they were pregnant was the best time for her because they were so happy, but on the island she had seen 9 deaths in 3 years. Juliette wants to find out if Sun got pregnant before she got to the island or if she got pregnant on the island. Sun admits she had sex with someone else before she got to the island. She says that it probably isn’t Jin’s because her doctor told her he was infertile. Juliette tells her that on the island men’s sperm is 5 times more potent. We find out that Sun got pregnant on the island. This by Juliette’s calculations means that Sun will die. Sun is very happy that it is Jin’s baby.
Sun asks how long she has. Juliette says that none of the women made it to the 3rd trimester. Sun figures out this is about 2 more months (aka another season of shows).
Juliette goes back into the station to clean up. But what she really does is talks into a tape. She tells Ben that Sun is pregnant and that she got pregnant on the island and stops the recorder. After the recorder is stopped she utters “and I hate you”.

Sun’s flashback:
Sun is sitting on a park bench. A woman comes to her and tells her she is Jin’s real mother. She was a prostitute and if Sun doesn’t give her $100 000 dollars in three days time, she will shame her family by telling everyone Mr. Paik’s daughter married the son of a prostitute.
Sun goes to a dock. She finds Jin’s father. He is not dead after all. Jin father tells her he didn’t come to the wedding as to not shame him. She asks him why he told his son that his mother died during child birth. He tells her that his real mother was with many men and just dropped him off. There is no real proof he is his real son, but he raised him that way.
Sun goes to her father and asks for the money. She says that it is to prevent her family from being shamed. He tells her that he will give her the money, but that Jin will bear the debt and will in turn work for her father now.
Sun gives the woman the money and tells her that her family is very powerful, her son believes she is dead……..don’t let me make that a reality, and she walks away.

In the Bush:
The woman is bleeding and there is a foreign object sticking through her. All of a sudden Mikail (the Russian guy) comes running out of the bushes. Now I know what you’re thinking. HE DIED! Locke pushed him into the fence at the others camp and he died. But he seems to be there in the flesh. Mikail offers to save her as long as they promise to let him go. They agree. He helps her and ultimately saves her life. Desmond lets the man go. As he is a man of his word. The woman has a satellite phone on her. It is dead. The woman looks over at Hurley and asks “who are you”. Hurley tells her that he was on flight 815, the one that went missing from Sidney. She says that is impossible because they found the plane and everyone on it was dead.
