So,
On the new quest of trying to eat in as regularly as possible. This is what I had for week 1:
Monday: I was craving Quizno's so I made my own. I got that almost baked bread from the grocery store and baked my own mini whole wheat baguette. Cut it open and put ranch dressing as the sauce, turkey cold cuts and emmenthal (Swiss style) cheese on the top, melted it in the toaster oven, applied some yummy veggies (tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers and sprouts) mashed it together and enjoyed. It was way better than Quiznos and because the almost baked bread came in a pack of 4, I will be able to have this again later.
Tuesday: I went with the ever simple - pizza - on whole wheat naan bread I put: salsa for sauce, mushrooms, red pepper, turkey cold cuts and mozzarella cheese. Put it in the oven for a few minutes and enjoyed.
Wednesday: I wasn't very hungry so I just had some cream of mushroom soup from the can and half a bagel with cream cheese and sprouts.
Thursday: I had guests and made a veggie pasta: one box of whole wheat spaghettini, a zucchini chopped, mushrooms sliced, red and yellow pepper, mozzarella cheese and a jar of 4 cheese tomato sauce. All cooked in one pot (pasta first then the sauce, then mixed together with spices). I had enough for 3 people + seconds + left overs for one.
Friday (Aka today): I went out for dinner with some friends at an Indian restaurant near my house.
Saturday: is the staff party, so I will eat there
Sunday: If I don't eat the leftovers, I will likely eat out, I usually do on Sundays........
And that is about it.
