It's been a long time, but Im still here

Hi,

So I realized that I haven't posted anything in a little over a month. In my opinion that's pretty bad. So as a result, you get a kind of, yet not so exciting update of my life for the past little while.

Hmmmmm, what to say, there is so much to write about, yet so little to write about.

I think I might be settled in here, back in my home town. I like it for many reasons and don't really like it for many others. The reasons I like it are: I'm closer to my good friend Crystal, I really like the school I work at and the students I have and I'm enjoying teaching Foods as part of my contract (more on that in one minute). Reason's I don't: Nothing has really changed much since I left (10 years ago), I miss everyone out in Kootenay country and I live a little too close to my parents (It was easier to do what I wanted, when they were at least a days drive away).

But overall it is going well. Teaching during the day has posed as an interesting challenge. I miss teaching at night and interacting with the Janitorial staff. Teaching Foods is also challenging, well probably just when I have to demonstrate the art of baking. The cooking is fine, it's the baking I'm TERRIBLE at.
I feel like I should be telling you more, but there really isn't that much exciting news to report. Its mostly just work, home, eat, mark, sleep, repeat during the week. But as it gets more routine, I'm sure I will find some fun adventures to embark on. I'm considering taking up cross country skiing this winter, as the local ski hill is only 45 minutes away and Its a good form of exercise and I can do this by myself safely.
I've also noticed how much easier it is to get things, as now I can drive across town, as opposed to my old method of driving to Cranbrook or Nelson or Coeur D'Alene. Though I do miss US shopping.

Other than that there isn't much new. I will send you a new report soon, hopefully in less than a month.

I thought I would mention that, my new students hate theory about as much as my old students. Interesting how that is huh?
